History
We are Aneta and Iva—two women brought together by a shared belief: that every small action matters, and that a sustainable life begins with a personal choice—a choice that nurtures a balanced relationship between people and the planet.
Aneta is a proven professional with years of leadership experience in the corporate world, who, after a successful career in aviation, chose the path of entrepreneurship. Iva is a social entrepreneur and a passionate advocate for human rights, inclusion of persons with disabilities, and environmental protection. For the past few years, she has been painting with the hope that her artwork will inspire awareness and reflection on some of the most pressing social and environmental challenges of our time.
AIA + GAIA was born shortly after Iva became a mother and Aneta became a grandmother. Together, we realized how difficult it was to find children’s products that are not only comfortable and beautiful but also durable, environmentally responsible, and part of the solution—not the problem. AIA + GAIA is our response: a brand offering high-quality essentials for those we love the most—our children.
Every piece is made from sustainable materials like organic cotton and recycled polyester, helping reduce water usage and keeping plastic waste out of our oceans.
Each design features original illustrations of some of the world’s most endangered animals, lovingly created by Iva with an artist’s eye and a mother’s heart. With timeless cuts and lasting quality, our products are made to be worn again and again. We invite every parent to make a choice that not only protects our children’s future but also helps shape a healthier planet—for all of us.
